The Marble Neptune bread plate is small but mighty.  Ideal as a bread or side plate, or even as a saucer for the matching mugs and cups, it’s a versatile table companion that’s beautiful from every angle. Handmade from cobalt blue, white, and sandstone clays, each piece carries its own unique ocean-inspired marbling that sweeps across the surface and flows around the back. Glazed on top to show every ripple, with a smooth exposed base grounding the piece in its earthy beginnings — intricate, elemental, and unmistakably handmade.

Here we use a casting technique followed by hand-glazing, this plate is made from high-fired stoneware clay, reaching 1298°C. Fully vitrified and non-porous, it's built to last—resisting water absorption, chemicals, and daily wear. The gloss glaze enhances the intricate marbling, while double firing strengthens both form and function.
