The No Plastic Plan
Bubble wrap and plastic may be easy, but we don’t dig it. The only bubbles that should end up in the sea are when Groupers sing the blues. To keep your pieces in one piece, we use shredded boxes and innovative packing materials that are kind to the environment.
We’re passionate about the planet: the literal earth our pieces are made from. Without the cushioning of toxic, non-degradable plastic packing, sometimes our pieces may not arrive in all their splendour. Bummer. But worry-not – if it’s broke, we’ll fix it. Please send us a pic and follow the process below so we can chat with the courier who gave it the rough treatment and send you a replacement ASAP.
Returns and Refunds
Within Australia, we offer refunds for products in their original, undamaged condition and protective packaging within 30 days of purchase. Because shipping costs are non-refundable, we’ll deduct them from your refund total. We give a ship, but we can’t offer refunds for international orders, sample sale pieces, special event purchases, final sale items or gift cards.
How do I Return Something?
- Pen us a cute note so we can provide you with a return number. Please provide photos of the damaged product, the packaging including the tracking number, and all the packaging material shipped to you.
- We will send you a label and ask for you to drop off your parcel in the original packaging, with proof of purchase, to: 70 Darby Street, Cooks Hill, Newcastle, NSW 2300.
- Return shipping is on us, if your order value was over $150
- When we’ve given your returned item the once-over and approved your refund, we’ll email you and issue a refund via your original payment method. It's critical to pack everything correctly so items don't get damaged in transit.
How do I Exchange Something?
We exchange items that are defective or damaged when you receive them. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to kick off the exchange process.
How do I Return a Gift?
We want you to love your piece. So if you receive a gift shipped directly from Palinopsia and you need to return it – awkward. Kidding! Please follow the exchanges process, and we’ll send you a gift certificate for the value of your item.
How do I Replace Something?
Due to the handmade nature of our products, and our small production runs, every batch and piece is unique. After a clumsy kid-knock or a boozy guest boo-boo – you may want to order a replacement piece. We’ll do our best to find the closest colour match, but one-of-a-kind means we can’t guarantee a replica. After all, you can’t bake the same cake twice.
