Payton Mug
Introducing the Payton Mug: your ticket to caffeinated bliss and tea-infused adventures! This mug is more than just a beverage holder—it's your personal sidekick for conquering the daily grind with a touch of whimsy and a dash of Neapolitan-inspired charm. Each one is individually dipped in a medley of vibrant glazes, creating a unique fusion of colours that resembles your favourite childhood ice-cream. So go ahead, sip, rinse and repeat because life is too short for boring mugs. Cheers to keeping your beverage game strong!
The Payton Mug is Ø9cm x 8cm high. It has a generous 350ml of capacity. Each piece is meticulously crafted by hand using a slip cast, then it's shaped and carefully trimmed with precision, ensuring its perfect form. Hand dipped three times in a colourful mix of glazes, the result is a mesmerising Neapolitan ice-cream inspired design that captures the essence of playful indulgence. Due to the handmade nature of this collection, variation in colour should be expected. Payton is Dishwasher Safe, Microwave safe and Oven proof, talk about a triple threat!
The Payton collection is handmade by a female studio in North East Thailand, we use high grade stoneware, it's fired to extremely high temperatures for over 12 hours (twice!). Making every piece very durable and fully vitrified (a fancy way of saying it won't absorb food and colour).
Momentum is everything
We use muscle memory to make, shape and mould in a centrifugal dance where tiny movements matter. A frictional force of push and pull, the plate your purchase is the meeting place of maker and mud. Palinopsia turns clay into everyday objects.
Planet to Plate
What we do and don’t do matters. In constant conversation, we continue to modify our environmental and social influence from design to delivery. And our people and partners are all-in, in terms of responsible trading, recycling resources, reducing plastic and waste. Always innovating, brainstorming and tweaking to make strides in sustainability and durability, we take a planet perspective.
