Crafted from premium stoneware clay sourced from North East Thailand, each plate is made using a slip cast forming technique. The cast is a plaster mould that holds the liquid clay in order to form with exacting detail while allowing for the patterns to free flow before setting, ensuring a consistent and refined shape. Handmade by skilled artisans, this process includes careful hand-trimming and glazing, resulting in a unique and high-quality piece.
The marbling of the four different clays creates a unique pattern of flowing colours, reminiscent of natural earthy striations found in river beds and soil formations. The soft, milky-white satin glaze reduces light reflection, gently diluting the intensity of the patterns to ensure the ingredients and your creation remains the true showcase.
